Jim McAndrew was a member of the New York Mets 1969 World Series championship team and the 1973 National League champions team. He pitched six seasons (1968-1973) with the Mets before retiring at age 30 in 1974.

McAndrew was challenged by injuries throughout his career. In this special Memorial Day edition of the podcast, McAndrew talks about the ups and downs of his career in New York.
