The Atlanta Braves will one day look back and remember today; how it felt to lose, at home, in the postseason. When that day comes they will be able to point to this experience and appreciate its value.
Failure is the best teacher; it builds character and resiliency (if you use it the right way). Braves manager Brian Snitker knows that.
I think this whole experience is going to do nothing but benefit us going forward. This has been a great experience for them … but until you actually experience it, the intensity, just the electricity that’s involved in that. It was a great ride. It’s sad. But they never quit. They never stopped fighting all year.
I hope they remember how good it felt when we clinched the division. And when they get to Spring Training, they’ll have an eye on the prize there.
