Excellent article on a really good man! From the time Robbie came to Charleston, he was all about entertaining the fans. Back then, it was on the ice with his enthusiasm and love of the game. Today, it’s off the ice, but his enthusiasm and love of the game are the same. He has really come into his own. He has worked hard and deserves the success he is now enjoying both personally and professionally. Like so many folks here in Charleston, I am proud of him and look forward to watching the organization grow and prosper during his tenure.

    Hi Lisa:

Thanks for the comment. I appreciate you visiting my site. I am in agreement with you, he is a great guy and, I too, hope he replicates the success he had on the ice as team president.

What Robbie is doing for our team is tremendous. Having known him and watched him since he came to Charleston, and having seen him grow has been fun, surprising, and humbling. He is a wonderful person, a great leader, a wonderful friend and the best husband and father. Even though his job requires him to be a professional, if you look close enough, you’ll still see the old Robbie. He has always had the biggest heart of anyone you will meet. I am lucky to be able to call him a Friend!

Thanks for joining the conversation. Again, I agree with your thoughts. I’ve known Rob through his playing days, interviewed him a number of times and, like you, am very impressed by him. I was personally excited to speak to him again and renew and old friendship. Thanks again.

This is a great article about Rob. It’s unfortunate that it was only published for readers in North Charleston. The only reason I got to read it, it was posted on the Facebook Page for the Stingrays. Summerville, SC

This article touched my heart. It was honest and on point. Rob is a strong, smart, loving, loyal, and determined man. I am proud of his efforts and accomplishments. It is an honor to be part of his family. This will be shared back in Boston.

Thanks Holly. I credit Rob for the story. His honesty about both his past and present circumstances made the story easy to write. For anyone who has had a wild and crazy youth, Rob is an example of how to take those experiences and use them for good. Enjoyed renewing and old friendship and writing the story. Thanks for your comment and sharing the story!
